See Into Every Corner of Any Cloud

Troubleshooting in the cloud doesn’t have to be complex. ThousandEyes Cloud Insights delivers deep, end-to-end visibility by correlating user experience issues with cloud traffic patterns and configuration changes. Now, operations teams can quickly pinpoint whether the extended cloud network is the cause and resolve problems faster.

Advanced Visibility for Multi-cloud Environments

ThousandEyes Cloud Insights continuously monitors digital experience from users to applications across multi-cloud environments. It builds upon ThousandEyes’ powerful cross-layer view for web apps, networks, and BGP by adding a new layer called Cloud Configuration. This layer displays the cloud topology for the application being measured and time-correlates infrastructure configuration changes to highlight potential impacts.

Cloud Topology View

Visually displays real-time, hop-by-hop performance metrics across user devices, owned networks, data centers, transit providers, and cloud infrastructure.

Cloud Path Enrichment

Provides additional details when traffic traverses cloud service provider networks, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute gateways; Global Accelerator; and various cloud provider backbone network nodes.

Cloud Inventory

Automatically creates an inventory of all elements and services across the cloud infrastructure, enabling ops teams to report on configuration and operational changes that might impact user experience.

Scalable and Complete Visibility

ThousandEyes Cloud Insights gives operations teams a clear view of traffic patterns across cloud workloads correlated with performance metrics. Cloud Insights maps each component and dependency, showing the flow of application traffic through various services, such as AWS Direct Connect or Azure ExpressRoute gateways, Virtual WAN, transit gateways, load balancers, and server pools, as well as equivalent services across other public cloud platforms.

Make Performance-based Cloud Architecture Decisions

Cloud Insights can collect network flow data from supported cloud providers, including traffic between regions, VPCs, availability zones, and external application sources. If traffic is traveling over non-optimized paths between different zones or providers, ops teams can identify these inefficiencies and implement optimizations, eliminating unnecessary interzone or multi-cloud communication.

CUSTOMER PERSPECTIVE
“Cloud Insights provided us with the centralized visibility we needed to quickly identify the root cause of issues within our AWS environment. During a recent outage, the networking team was unable to determine why connectivity was failing. However, thanks to Cloud Insights, we were able to immediately correlate a security group change in the Transit Gateway configuration around the time the issue occurred and track the rollback that resolved the problem. This ability to correlate both manual and automatic changes to impact between our AWS applications in a single pane of glass has dramatically reduced our time to resolution and improved our operational efficiency.”
