Summary

ThousandEyes' Hack Day 2024 brought together teams from around the world to showcase their innovative and collaborative ideas, addressing challenges in AI, equity in technology, new product opportunities, and more.

The eagerly anticipated ThousandEyes Hack Day is back and bigger than ever. This year, the Innovation League surpassed expectations by showing us a spectacular assortment of projects and demos poised to transform our everyday experiences.

“Hack Day has been important to our company culture since the beginning and demonstrates our commitment to ongoing innovation,” says Joe Vaccaro, General Manager at ThousandEyes. “We’ve seen amazing displays of ingenuity and collaboration this week, and I’m excited to see some of these projects come to life not only in our product but in our organizational processes, team diversity, and sustainability practices.”

Seventy impressive teams from around the world came together this Hack Day, working from 12 regional hubs as well as various remote locations. Their projects ranged from envisioning a more inclusive and equitable future in tech, to tackling AI for more valuable insights, to redefining market standards with practical and revolutionary solutions.

Celebrating This Year’s Winners

Hack Day is not only a time for innovation but also a celebration of talent, marked by a series of awards that foster a spirit of healthy competition. Among these, the People's Choice Award stands out as it is uniquely determined by the votes of fellow Hack Day participants, reflecting the community's admiration.

Beyond this popular accolade, a functionally diverse panel of expert judges reviewed projects against a detailed evaluation framework to honor those across a spectrum of categories, ensuring a variety of strengths and functions are recognized.

The Cross-collaborative Excellence Award, for instance, is reserved for the team that demonstrates exceptional synergy and strategic partnership. Meanwhile, the Business Value Award celebrates those forward-thinkers who devise solutions with substantial market potential. Lastly, the Productivity Acceleration Award is bestowed upon the team whose innovations contribute significantly toward boosting productivity and operational efficiency within the organization.
